Relectric Supply offers a complete line of control transformer products. From high inrush industrial models (PH Series) to CE marked (PT Series), from HVAC open style (SL Series) to din rail mount (PHD & PTD Series) and buck-boost (BK Series) to enclosed units (E Series) as well. Ratings offered range from 25VA up to 7500VA on some models in as many as 19 different voltages.
The Hammond "PH" series of molded machine tool control transformers are specifically designed to meet industrial applications where electromagnetic wwwices such as relays, solenoids, etc. are used. These control transformers maximize inrush capability and output voltage regulation when electromagnetic wwwices are initially energized. The PH Series are molded from 25VA up to 1000VA and are an open style unit from 1500VA up to 5000VA. They are available in many primary and secondary voltage combinations, are designed for 60Hz operation and are available with a full array of features including 10 fusing options and optional clear plastic 'finger safe' terminal covers.
The Hammond PT series of machine tool control transformers are designed to meet similar applications requirements as the PH series. However, these PT series units are CE Marked and are designed to for both 50Hz and 60Hz operation.
The PT Series are also molded from 25VA up to 1000VA and are an open style unit from 1500VA up to 5000VA. They are available in many primary and secondary voltage combinations and are available with a full array of features including 10 fusing options and optional clear plastic 'finger safe' terminal covers. They also offer a unique Universal Mounting Plate, made of heavy steel and welded to the core.
Hammond is pleased to introduce a line of specialty control transformers ideally suited for general purpose, industrial, light duty loads. Designed for applications where high inrush or machine tool duty, are not necessary, the SL series control transformer offers an efficient and economical solution. These units are well suited for HVAC applications, signal and alarm systems, small motors, and lighting and circuit isolation. The SL control transformer is an open style unit with molded terminal blocks, available with a full array of features including 10 fusing options, multiple primary and secondary voltages and optional clear plastic 'finger safe' terminal covers. For an economical approach for control transformers, the SL is the transformer of choice.
The Hammond Din rail mount "PT" and "PH" series of machine tool transformers are designed to meet the requirements for 'panel mounted' industrial control applications. This line offers the same features as our standard PT and PH units except the base has been configured for mounting on DIN rail. Hammond is pleased to introduce the NEW 'PTD' and 'PHD' series . . . the first DIN rail mountable industrial control transformers offered in the market.
For applications where an indoor, cost effective approach to general purpose loads is desired, consider the 'E' series, single phase, indoor enclosed control transformer. These units have a standard NEMA Type 1 enclosure, are available in 20 standard voltage combinations and are specifically designed for the following applications:
Buck-boost transformers offer an economical solution to the adjustment of line voltages that are slightly above or below normal. When a Buck-Boost transformer is connected as an autotransformer, only a portion of the load kVA is actually transformed. The majority of the load kVA is passed directly through to the source. For this reason a Buck-Boost transformer may be used to supply a much larger load kVA than is indicated on the nameplate. Hammond offers single phase units, in ratings from 50VA to 10,000VA in three standard voltages. Custom voltages are also available.
For a cost effective approach to supply low voltage for recreational, lighting, or light duty industrial applications, consider the 'E' style transformer.
For a general purpose load including actuating relays, bells, control and low voltage circuits, this enclosed transformer is ideal for simplicity and efficiency.
Hammond prides itself in its ability to manufacture, on a timely basis, custom designed and built transformers for almost any application. This of course includes custom control transformers, medium voltage control transformers or current transformers.
